Enrollment & Tuition
Enrollment at The Green Tambourine is an entire school year (nine months) of weekly classes/lessons. Our monthly fees are calculated by dividing the full school year tuition into nine monthly installments. Due to the arrangement of the calendar, in most months there are four sessions, but in some there are five and in others three. Please refer to the yearly calendar for dates that the studio will be closed, as all holidays and breaks are built into the monthly tuition rates. Enrollment is not offered on a per class basis. No refunds will be issued for missed, canceled, or unused services. After initial payment to reserve your spot in the schedule, you will be enrolled in monthly auto pay on the 1st of every month for the remainder of the term.

Discontinuation
In order to discontinue one or more of your services, please notify the business office directly one billing cycle in advance. Notice given to your teacher alone is not sufficient. Once your notice is received, your monthly fees will end, and your services will stop at the end of the current billing cycle.

Attendance
The weekly schedule at the studio is very tight, and we highly value both our clients’ and our teachers’ time. Our staff are compensated for all of their scheduled lessons & classes regardless of whether or not the student shows up, and therefore we are unable to refund or reschedule any services a student misses.

If a student is unable to attend a class or lesson, we cannot reschedule, refund or credit that missed service. Instead, that student has the option of attending either a similar group class if applicable, or one of our monthly community make-up classes, both to be scheduled and confirmed in advance. Once scheduled and confirmed, your missed class is considered completed (no rescheduling reschedules).

If a teacher needs to cancel a class or lesson, we will attempt to reschedule in-person or online services if possible. If the schedule does not allow for in-person or online make-ups, the student will have the option of getting a credit for future lessons, attending a similar in-person group class, or one of our monthly community make-up classes. All options must be scheduled and confirmed in advance. Once confirmed, your missed class is considered completed (no rescheduling reschedules).

Communications
To respect both our clients' and our teachers' privacy, we ask that no communications are sent to each other via email/text/phone outside of school. Instead, all communications about absences, scheduling, billing, or policies should go to our business manager at matthew@thegreentambourine.com. Any communications about programming, teachers, or content can be sent to our director at ann@thegreentambourine.com.
Media Release
All photos, videos, and audio recordings created by The Green Tambourine Music School (the school) are property of The Green Tambourine Music School. By enrolling at the school, consent is being given to the school to use any pictures, videos, and audio recordings for outreach and promotion of The Green Tambourine Music School. If you do not want your photos or recordings to be used, please complete and submit our Media Opt Out Form.
School Closing Information
In the event of an inclement weather related building closure, all Musical Explorations, Intro to Instruments, and Group Instrumental Classes will be canceled. Individual lessons will be offered virtually. Please check your email that morning for details.
